VIDEO: HOW TO MAKE THE MEZCAL EL DIABLO WITH LEJAY CASSIS & THE BEST DRINK EVER

I recently had the opportunity to collaborate with Lejay Cassis x The Best Drink Ever to mix-up a tasty riff on the El Diablo, a cocktail that is perfect for the summertime. The El Diablo is a Trader Vic classic which typically uses tequila as its base. For my version, I split the base between equal parts mezcal and tequila. Let's just say that you won't be having only one of them.

Mezcal El Diablo

3/4 oz Tequila
3/4 oz Mezcal
1/2 oz Lejay Cassis
1/2 oz Lime
Topped with Ginger Beer
Garnish: lime wheels (and blackberries if you have available)
