For those of you who aren't familiar with the whole cocktail scene, Lost Lake is best in glass when it comes to tiki cocktails - some might even say cocktails overall. Most recently, they were awarded Best American Bar at the 2018 Spirited Awards at Tales of the Cocktail, which is no-joke of an award and speaks to the level of excellence their beverage program upholds year over year.

Their house cocktail, the Lost Lake, is a delicious balance of rum, tropical juices, and a couple perfectly balanced modifiers to transform this drink into a modern tiki hit. I tracked down the specs for this one to share with y'all. Mix now, thank me later.

Lost Lake

2 oz. aged Jamaican rum
.75 oz. passion fruit syrup
.75 oz. fresh lime juice
.5 oz. pineapple juice
.25 oz. maraschino liqueur
.25 oz. Campari
Garnish: pineapple frond, pineapple slice, orange peel, edible flowers

Method: Shake all of the ingredients with 1 cup of crushed ice. Strain into a tiki mug and add more crushed ice to fill. Garnish.
